The first step is to source the coffee from one of the best dominican producers in the country, for more than 30 years SAMIR coffee has been the center hub for coffee production in San Jose de Ocoa.

The roads are the same since the comute was stablished more than 50 years ago.

You need to drive through tought terrain to get to SAMIR’s coffee and it is worth every step of the trip. The Dominican coffee is widelly known for it’s richness in flavor. It’s a combination of the flavor from the soil and the unique treatment that coffee recieves because of the unique climate conditions in the country.

SAMIR was founded by the Baltensperger family from Swiss and it provides for more than a hundreed families in the region. Located in the mountains , it takes more than 6 hrs to get from Puntacana to the farm
